WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!
Welcome to Chestnut Ridge Church. It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. Chestnut Ridge is a family of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time.
WHAT ARE THE SERvICES LIKE?
We worship in a warm and friendly environment and most people dress casually during our worship times. The music and worship are intended to glorify God and set our focus on receiving HIS word. Whether it is through the music, prayer or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not man's philosophies, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.
Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
We look forward to having you join us in worship!
WHERE SHOULD I PARK AND WHERE SHOULD I GO WHEN I ENTER THE BUILDING?
We have parking lots adjacent to the church building for the convenience of our church family and guests.
You will be greeted at the front doors by friendly and knowledgable folks who are ready to help you find where you need to go. Once inside, visit our Hospitality Center for a fresh cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Opposite the Hospitality Center is our Connection Center where we offer information and assistance.
DO YOU PROVIDE CHILDCARE?
Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers up to age 5are provided during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. We also offer a Mother's Room adjacent to the Worship Center if you have a child in need of a few moments of privacy.
"Shine" Children's Worship Service is provided during our 11:00 service for children K-2nd Grades. Please be sure to stop by the KidzTown check-in desk to check your child in and print their name tag. You will receive a matching tag which you must present to the children's ministry leader to collect your child. Your child's safety is our sincere concern.
